Hello lovelies,
today at work I picked up a Harper's Bazaar magazine and surfed through their web as well. I enjoy reading their artciles on season's trends because they are so up to date. Notice that not all trends are to be followed but if you think a trend expresses your individuality, then go for it! I don't follow everything but there are surely some that totally speak to me!
xoxo,
Irene
Loose-fitting pants; "Harem, dhoti, slouchy: No matter what you call them, loose-fitting pants are the pair to have for the warm months ahead. Team with a vest, as shown at Isabel Marant. The fashion-forward look works for a night out (dress them up with heels) or a day around town (flats and a jean jacket tank or a soft jacket)."
Printed-dress; It can be patterns, florals, ethnics, etc. "Be it a beautiful bouquet of florals or a digitized ikat, a pattern is this summer's top option for rocking a feminine frock. If you like the maxi version, Stella McCartney is your go-to girl. If you prefer a more mini cut, everyone from Louis Vuitton to Peter Pilotto sent this sexy silhouette down the runway. For a complete look, throw on an abbreviated leather jacket, a long, thin cardigan (belted, of course), or a menswear-influenced tuxedo jacket."
Sunglasses; "Channel your inner material girl with a pair of sunglasses designed by Madonna, from her new MDG capsule collection for Dolce & Gabbana."
The Army-Green Jacket; "The military-inspired topper is officially reporting for duty. Get in on the action with a worn-in anorak. Alexa Chung saluted the style by wearing a Louis Vuitton patch-pocket jacket with tights."
Pastels; "Francisco Costa's all-the-colors-of-the-rainbow palette comes to life in his lightweight summer dresses at Calvin Klein. Bubble-gum pink, acid yellow, ice blue, and aquamarine are some of the chicest colors of the season, and metallic accessories add the perfect finishing touch."
Coral Polish; "Come summer, everyone wants their toes and hands to shine. Spice up your nails with a coral-infused polish. This striking shade will keep you looking resort chic."
Conservative Glamour; "Beautifully cut suits that have legs from season to season, year to year — thanks, Tommy Hilfiger."
